Set Apart: The University Hospital Foundation recognized as “High Performer”
Once again, the University Hospital Foundation is honoured to receive “High Performer” status from the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP).
As one of 10 organizations in Canada to receive such recognition in 2017, and 1 of only 4 charities supporting an academic hospital, the University Hospital Foundation sees the designation as a testament to applying our mission – to advance excellence – to our daily operations and financial integrity.
Awarded annually to the top 25 percent of all reporting organizations, the designation is based on detailed information relating to the organization’s performance, including fundraising revenue, expenses, details on specific fundraising programs and staff involvement.
“The University Hospital Foundation is proud to receive high performer status from the Association for Healthcare philanthropy,” says Joyce Mallman Law, President of the University Hospital Foundation. “For healthcare organizations, this is equivalent to the Good Housekeeping seal of approval. It means we are a trusted organization, which our donors can confidently support, and our partners can take pride in.”
The University Hospital Foundation passionately promotes the power of generosity to change and save lives at the University of Alberta Hospital, the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute and the Kaye Edmonton Clinic in Edmonton, Alberta.
